Montfort Hospital Foundation’s Major Fund Raising Campaign
Launched in July 2005, the Montfort Hospital’s Major Fund Raising Campaign is designed to provide the Hospital with the additional resources required not only to maintain its well-deserved progress but to ensure the institution’s ongoing and essential development.
Our population will need better and more extensive health services in the future. The aging of the population will force the Montfort to expand its services well beyond what currently exists.
The Foundation firmly believes that a majority of Canadians from all walks of life understand the key role that the Montfort Hospital must play in serving its Francophone and Anglophone clienteles and keeping the community vibrant and healthy, in Ontario and elsewhere in the country.
The Montfort Hospital Foundation warmly and sincerely invites individuals, companies, charitable foundations and governments from across Canada and elsewhere to come to its aid in this time of great need and respond generously to its request for financial support so that it is able to meet all urgent requirements for its programs, services, care, research and training.
The Montfort Hospital Foundation has set its fund raising campaign objective at $10 MILLION OVER FIVE YEARS. The regional, provincial and national components of the campaign involve corporations and financial institutions, professional associations, cooperative movements, foundations, religious communities, volunteer and community organizations, social clubs, political circles, academic institutions, the media and members of the broad Montfort Hospital community (board members, physicians, employees, former patients, and friends).
For the Montfort Hospital to continue playing a leading role in the community, it must remain at the forefront of research, training and the delivery of medical- and health-related care and services. It must have solid linguistic and community roots and ensure that its financial base is equally solid.
